It’s finally Friday AND there is spring weather. Finally, in mid-May we have spring. A few nights ago there was frost. The schizophrenic weather really drives me insane but I think it’s settling down now. This weekend there are about 20 plants still to plant a railing to put up, a p athway to put in. I mentioned earlier that Ithaca was considering podcars as public transportation. We’ve now taken one step closer to seeing this innovation come to Ithaca. Is this a brilliant move or boondoggle? You decide.

Connect Ithaca, in conjunction with engineering firm C&S Companies, received a $75,000 grant from the New York state Department of Transportation that will be the first step in assessing the feasibility of a personal rapid transit system, or podcar.
